TERMS OF SERVICES (TOS)

  1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

    1800 Otaku Senshi provides the following service to you, subject to these Terms of Service (TOS) which may be updated periodically without notice. Failure to comply with these TOS may result in your termination.

  2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

    This site (herein referred to as "1800 Otaku Senshi" or "the Community") is a fansenshi base built on the hopes of bringing the otaku community together. As a community we strive to provide a home for junior and senior otaku. We help those who work hard on their creations and those who need guidance to expand on their ideas. We wish to reach out into the community and bring together a love and respect for fansenshi base. Regardless if the stories involve Sailormoon or not we are here to help you grow from the ground to the top in your creative ideas. Once registered with 1800 Otaku Senshi the community is not held accountable for misconduct by outside parties. By submitting your information freely you have given your consent to post this information to the public in the risk that outside parties "may" use your information.

  3. REGISTRATION AGREEMENT

    All members are aware in accordance with local law including the Children's Online Protection Privacy Act (COPPA) which restricts children under the age of 13 from registering sensitive information consisting of but not limited to: name and email address. If you are under the age of 13 you must have your parent or legal guardian's consent before forwarding your information.

  4. REGISTRATION OBLIGATIONS

    Membership registration and verification is required in order to "park" any information here at 1800 Otaku Senshi. During registration, all users are required to provide accurate, complete and current information about themselves in all required fields. Should any of your own information change after submitting it to 1800, you are hereby required to update that information and inform a community representative as soon as possible. Should 1800 suspect that your personal information is not complete, current, or accurate, your account may be subject to suspension or termination. Should you feel that 1800's privacy policy is not sufficient for you to complete the application, please contact me immediately where we can discuss further safety measures.

  5. MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICE

    1800 Otaku Senshi reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the community (or any part thereof) with or without notice at any time. You agree that 1800 Otaku Senshi shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of services.

  6. NO RESALE OF SERVICE

    You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the community, use of the community, or access to the community.

  7. TERMINATION

    You agree that 1800 Otaku Senshi in its sole discretion, may terminate your membership or remove and discard any content within the site, for any reason, including and without limitation, the lack of activity, or if 1800 believes that you have violated or acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of the TOS. Any contracts, verbal or written or assumed, in conjunction with your deleted membership and all its parts, at 1800's discretion, will be terminated as well. You agree that 1800 Otaku Senshi shall not be liable to you or any third-party for any termination of your membership.

  8. OUTSIDE PARTIES

    1800 Otaku Senshi or relevant third parties, may provide links to other web sites or resources. Because 1800 has no control over such sites and resources, you acknowledge and agree that 1800 Otaku Senshi is not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products, or other materials on or available from such sites or resources. You further acknowledge and agree that 1800 Otaku Senshi shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such site or resource.

  9. MEMBER CONDUCT

    You understand that all information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, messages or other materials, whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, are the sole responsibility of the person from which such content originated. 1800 Otaku Senshi does not control content posted on member or non-member sites and, as such, does not guarantee the validity of such content. You also understand that by using 1800, you may be exposed to content that is offensive, indecent or objectionable. Should content be found or reported to be in violation with, but not limited to, the following terms, it will be 1800's sole discretion as to what action should be taken.

    The following are to be honored in all that is stated:

    1. Do not harm minors in any way through "death threats", "junk mail", "chainletters", "spam", "pyramid schemes" or any other form of solicitation.

    2. Do not violate copyright laws as stated on and off the net. If you need information on copyright go to: what is copyright? for more information.

    3. Do not impersonate any person or entity, including, but not limited to, a community representative, member or affiliated member or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

    4. You must have a website uploaded and ready for viewing upon application completion. Failure to do so will result in your application being thrown out without prior notice.

    5. Your site is a reflection of this community. If your site shows poor dedication or fails to meet "housekeeping" standards your application will be thrown out without prior notice. If you wish to get a second opinion before applying you may do so at the forums.

    6. Do not harrase, belittle or abuse members and/or their websites. Period! In doing so 1800 Otaku Senshi reserves the right to terminate your membership.

    7. Please do not apply if your site harbors tasteless material such as explicit sexual conduct, S&M, bondage or any other material that viewers may find offensive. This site is run with class and therefore will showcase websites with class. You may ask for a second opinion at the forums if you are unsure of the content on your site.

    8. IMPORTANT RULE: You must have the offical 1800 code or button posted on either your splash, webring, cliques or links page before applying. If a code or banner cannot be found your application will be dismissed. You are however allowed to reapply but after the second time if a code is not found you will be ignored until rules can be met.

    9. Try to give all content or documents proper credit if they do not belong to you. If any content, pictures, or files are later reported to be stolen. Your membership will be terminated without notice.

    10. This is an interactive site for all. YOU are responsible for keeping updated on current events and projects around the site. When prompted type "community is unity" in the password box. If you find yourself on the blacklist it is up to you to find out why. Blacklist members will not be contacted for any reason.

    11. Any site on hiatus, revamping or construction duty prior to your application will be over looked. For the sake of sanity have your site ready for viewing upon application. Any member site found on hiatus or under construction will be removed immediately. Therefore it is up to YOU to verify your claims and keep community representatives informed of your sites changes.

    12. If for any reason after your termination you feel that your punishment was unjustified you have every right to ask for an appeal. To do so contact me directly with a "professional" letter of appeal to the violations you were terminated under. If at any time the letter feels threatening or unfriendly it will be thrown out and your appeal will be unresolved.

    13. Keep in mind all rules are subject to change with or without prior notice. You are responsible for keeping informed of such changes.
